We are a company specialized in manufacturing electrical heating equipments and temperature measuring instruments that find applications in industries and laboratories worldwide.

Our company was founded in the year 1979. It started as a small manufacturing unit producing bi-metallic dial thermometers, thermocouples & rtds. These instruments were appreciated by many leading organizations for its level of quality and accuracy. They became the early customers of HIEC’s products and are still our regular customers.

Soon, our Laboratory Heating Equipment division was started, where we manufactured electrical ovens, heating mantles, hot plates, muffle furnaces and many other heating equipments for laboratories.

This was followed by our Industrial Equipment Division where we manufactured electric ovens and furnaces that found use in a various industries such as Engineering, Glass, Abrasives, Rubber, Chemical, Pharmaceuticals, Food, Powder Coating, Sports Goods, etc. Today, we have the capability of designing effective heating solutions that involves usage of latest technologies in heating and control.

Subsequently, our Electrode & Flux Drying Oven division was started. Here we designed and manufactured ovens that were specifically used to treat welding electrodes & fluxes. What we did different here, is that we listened to the people who use such ovens and used our knowledge of building heating equipments to design ovens that were rugged, reliable, safe and easy to use & service. Our ovens were a stark contrast to the low quality ones available. They outlasted their warranty period by many years and faithfully served welders across the country. ‘Haridas’ got known as a brand that provides quality electrode & flux drying ovens. Today, our electrode & flux drying ovens are preferred wherever radiographic welds are needed. We constantly interact with customers and end-users to gain insight into their requirements. It is through these insights that we are constantly developing new oven models that serve industry needs.
